Botanical Ingredients:
Natural Hope Herbal’s Black Walnut Tea includes Marshmallow root, Plantain leaf, Black Walnut hull, Anise seed.
Suggested Use:
Directions: Add 1-2 rounded tablespoons Black Walnut Tea to 3-4 cups cold water. Heat to almost boiling. Keep covered and let sit for 20-40 min. Strain through a sieve into a glass jar or large mug. Will keep 2 days if refrigerated.
Warning:
Black walnut contains Juglone, a known mutagen (substance that causes genetic mutations). There is thought to be less juglone in the dried hull, but it is still not wise to take during pregnancy or for extended lengths of time.
