Suggested Use:
2 droppers with water or tea, 2-4 times daily, or as directed by health care professional. Store in a cool dry place. Shake gently before use.
Warning:
Not recommended during pregnancy due to the uterine stimulant effect of the isolated compound berberine on pieces of the mouse uterus. No uterine stimulation was noted in rats administered high doses of berberine during pregnancy. Caution is advised during lactation. Berberine has been found in the breast milk of women who have taken berberine-containing plants, and there is concern that berberine can displace bilirubin and cause jaundice in infants.
